The project “PRINTING PROCESS AUTOMATION” is developed for DGK Screen Printing, Tiruppur using Visual Basic as front-end and Oracle as back end.

            This system is developed for a textile unit that takes coloring and printing orders from other manufacturing units or from buyers and they do the printing process and return back the garments and bill the producers based on the service they provide to them.

             In details the system computerizes the activities of taking orders from garment makers, getting approval on shade cards and designs, estimating the cost of orders, coloring, delivery of colored and printed materials and billing customers.

             The system is a modular system that includes modules like customer detail maintenance, cost estimation, order processing, order delivery and billing. The system is also capable of generating formatted reports that can be generated automatically with the click of a mouse button, with user-friendly and validated data entry.
