The project titled “DAIRY MANAGEMENT” developed for Aavin Diary using VB and Oracle 8i is mainly designed with the aim of computerizing the activities being carried out in the diary like milk procurement, milk payment, packing, distribution of products.
The system is broadly classified into modules such as milk procurement, milk payment, packing, distribution. The whole system is automated such that data have to be updated automatically whenever raw materials arrive. These arrived goods have to be stored hygienically since they are very sensitive to its environment and surroundings. Similarly when goods arrive they are checked for their quality and in case of some problem in quality the items has to be replaced.
The transactions taking place in a aavin need special attention since a small mistake while entering the details the great loss would incur to the company.
