Project Idea - IMPORT CUSTOMS CLEARENCE AUTOMATION

Project Abstract: The project “IMPORT CUSTOM CLEARANCE AUTOMATION” for M/s D.B.Khona, Cochin is developed using VB. Net as front end and Oracle 8i as back end
The system deals with automation of importing goods from foreign countries and clearance of the same by the clearing and forwarding agents to their customers. The major process deals with maintenance of customer details, maintenance of document details, verification of documents, bill of lading and invoice, verification of dispatch with the shippers and maintaining delivery note and preparing bill of entry to calculate duty, payment of duty to customs and billing the customer.
The various modules of the system are:
• Customer detail maintenance
• Document details maintenance
• Verification details maintenance
• Goods Clearance
• Customer Billing
