Project Idea/Abstract - AUTOMATION OF JEWELLERY
The main objective of the project “AUTOMATION OF JEWELLERY” is to computerize the process of sales, billing and work order processing. The system is developed using VB 6.0 as front end and Oracle 8i as back end.
The main aim of the system is to computerize the process of keeping track of customer details and billing the customer on sales. In addition the system is also capable of handling orders placed by customers and it keeps track of orders completed and the status of pending orders.
The system is also capable of generating formatted reports such as sales report, jewel details and work status report and customer details summary.
