In our company we have Raw material testing, Management, Production, Purchase and many more departments. This project helps them to manage all those departments under a single roof. All the purchase details will be managed in the purchase maintenance module. When a purchase order is generated the details of the order will be stored in a separate table. Raw material management module will help them to manage the raw materials in the company. When the raw material stock limit falls below the reorder level, this project will give a message to the administration.

            Production departments will manage the produced goods. After production, the goods will be sent to the testing department which will be managed by the testing module. Since all the modules are connected, this system reduces the paper works of the company.

Project Abstract

The Project is entitled by “COMPUTER SALES AND SERVICES MANAGEMENT SYSTEM”, is developed to systemize the activities of the company regarding its purchase, sales and service activities of computers involved in the concern.

The Product details, Order details, Purchase and Sales Details and the details about the customer and suppliers are maintained.

The Project computerizes the entire activities involved in sales and servicing of a computer. The Product details contain the details about each and every type of computer that the company possesses.

Purchase details of the product and various transactions involved in purchase of a computer are maintained.

Sales details of each computer in the concern are also recorded. The Project also maintains the details about the suppliers of the company and the customer details.

Various reports like date wise customer, transaction report, product wise report, purchase and sales reports are generated.

This software is developed by using Visual Basic as Front-end and SQL-Server 2000 as the Back-end. The system can be implemented in windows platform, and data report is the reporting tool.

The project “PRINTING PROCESS AUTOMATION” is developed for DGK Screen Printing, Tiruppur using Visual Basic as front-end and Oracle as back end.

            This system is developed for a textile unit that takes coloring and printing orders from other manufacturing units or from buyers and they do the printing process and return back the garments and bill the producers based on the service they provide to them.

             In details the system computerizes the activities of taking orders from garment makers, getting approval on shade cards and designs, estimating the cost of orders, coloring, delivery of colored and printed materials and billing customers.

             The system is a modular system that includes modules like customer detail maintenance, cost estimation, order processing, order delivery and billing. The system is also capable of generating formatted reports that can be generated automatically with the click of a mouse button, with user-friendly and validated data entry.

The Project “Job Scheduling and Performance Monitoring” has been developed for APT Infoway , Coimbatore . The system using Visual Basic 6.0 and Microsoft SQL server as development environment. The system mainly deals with complaint management and employee management.

The system allows user to log into the system and enter the developer’s attendance, work schedule allotment for a developer and complaint management for the existing received complaints from customers and new complaint registration. 

The details of all customers, complaints, developers, attendance are taken from the data reports which are available in the package .The system provides a user-friendly GUI based application for the marble company. This system has been developed under Visual Basic 6.0 and SQL Server environment and uses client – server architecture.

It is develop using Visual Basic as Front end and Oracle as back end. The system helps in recording information such as Passport details, Visa details, Country Details, Hotel Inquiry and confirmation, Ticket inquiry and confirmation and Invoice bill generation for customers. The system provides accurate high speed information on inquiries regarding overseas travel and ticket booking.

The system has user-friendly screens and menu that helps the user to have an access to the operations of the system. The System is also built using the necessary integrity constraints to avoid inconsistency and data redundancy.

The system is capable of generating formatted and professional reports as expected by the users.

The system deals with automation of importing goods from foreign countries and clearance of the same by the clearing and forwarding agents to their customers. The major process deals with maintenance of customer details, maintenance of document details, verification of documents, bill of lading and invoice, verification of dispatch with the shippers and maintaining delivery note and preparing bill of entry to calculate duty, payment of duty to customs and billing the customer.

Abstract: The project entitled “E-CASH TRANSACTION TRACKER” is developed for Money Express, Coimbatore using Visual Basic 6.0 as front-end and Oracle 8i as back-end to computerize the activities of money transfer to foreign countries.

The main objective of the system is to computerize the money transactions that take place from foreign countries through Money Express. The system deals with automating the various modes of money transactions such as Money transfer from Western countries into India, issue of traveler cheques for customer’s traveling from India to other foreign countries, Money Conversion from Indian currency into other foreign currencies and vice versa, door-to-door payments of NRI transfers received from other countries etc.,

The system helps in keeping track of the various foreign exchange activities that take place daily. The system is very user-friendly with easy to use interfaces and has provision to prepare automated reports to the management.
